Welcome to the Chaine Bali

Welcome to the Culinary World of the Chaine des Rotisseurs and particularly to the Bailliage de Bali.

The Chaine has been active in Bali since the early 90’s. At that time the majority of the members came from within the hotels and restaurants. Over the years the Chaine has continued to grow and is today one of Bali’s premier associations for gourmands, and comprises of an eclectic mix of professional and non-professional members reflective of the multi cultural blend existing amongst the foreign and local residents of Bali.

The Chaine plans six special events each year hosted by Bali’s best known and respected restaurants and hotels. Each event is meticulously planned and executed to create a memorable dining experience. As we live on one of the world’s most unique Islands, and in the tropics, generally the events throughout the year are a more casual mix of Bali Chic and International Couture. The year rounds out with a spectacular Black Tie event, usually held at one of Bali’s luxury Resorts. Throughout the year Chaine Members are also included as privileged guests at many of the culinary and wine events hosted by Bali’s top hotels and restaurants, enjoying the special talents visiting international Chefs and Winemakers.

Even though membership is limited and a balance of professional and non-professional is maintained, we welcome guests who share the same love of food and wine.
